Night Watch

We stand the watch so you don't have to.

Your boat sits in San Carlos six months a year. You sit 1,800 miles away hoping the bilge pump is keeping up. Night Watch puts a quiet, always-on crew member aboard — one that reports battery, bilge, shore power, climate, and position every single day, over our own long-range radio network. No SIM card. No Mexican roaming bill. No wondering.

How It Works

Night Watch runs on LoRa — the same long-range, low-power radio technology behind industrial sensing worldwide — over a private network we built and operate right here in San Carlos.

01Sensors aboard

Small, sealed sensors watch your bilge, batteries, shore power, hatches, and cabin climate. Batteries last for years — most install in under an hour.

02Our shore network

One Tetakawi gateway hears every boat in the marina and mooring field. Your boat's data never rides a cell carrier — the network is ours.

03Smart rules

Daily check-ins stay quiet. Pump running too often, power lost, water rising, boat drifting — those reach your phone in seconds.

04You, informed

A live dashboard, instant alerts, and a pre-arrival report before you fly down: battery health, humidity trends, and every event since you left.

Why Night Watch

No cellular, on purpose

Satellite and cell-based boat monitors charge $25–40 USD a month largely to pay carriers — and Mexican coverage is their weak point. Our LoRa network costs us nothing per message, so monitoring costs you less and works where cell phones don't.

Someone local

An alert at 2 a.m. in Minnesota is only useful if someone in San Carlos can act on it. Tetakawi is here year-round — the same team that installs your system answers when it matters.

The pre-arrival report

A week before you fly down, get the full story: battery health, humidity trends, bilge activity, and every hatch event since May. Step aboard already knowing she's ready.

Built by boaters, locally

Designed, assembled, and supported in Sonora by the team behind Tetakawi's security and IoT systems. When you call, you get us — we answer the phone.

Pilot berths are limited

Night Watch launches this season with a small pilot fleet in San Carlos. Founding owners get priority install and locked-in pilot pricing.
